Parents and family members who have completed the Ethics in Ministry (EIM) training are welcome and encouraged to visit Cathedral School of Saint Mary. To make these visits most meaningful, please plan your visit at a time that is mutually convenient to you and the teacher. When you arrive at school, please go directly to the school office to sign-in and pick-up a visitor's badge. To minimize interruptions in the instructional day, we ask that you contact the teacher prior to your visit. This is a courtesy to the class and will help you better fulfill the purpose of the visit.
Visiting the classroom does not infer a conference. If you would like a conference with the teacher, simply make an appointment with the teacher. While a visitor is in a classroom, the teacher's first priority is the children.
The safety and security of children is a primary concern of Cathedral School of Saint Mary. To make our school as safe and secure as it can be, we have designed certain measures to provide building security. All gates and exterior doors will remain locked during school hours and may be opened with a security code number. Visitors to the school should enter the school through the San Jacinto gate and go directly to the school office where you will sign-in and obtain a visitor's badge. While on school grounds, please do not feel offended if a staff member asks who you are or why you are in school. They are just looking out for the safety of all our students.
